Rex "Alfred" Edwyn is the main hero and the central protagonist in Detectives of Night . Although that he was a girl chaser because of his habit of flirting with other girls even he already have his girlfriend , Akane Cyrielle , he was in fact a comical hero who would do anything to help his friends .
However , he also seems to have a darker persona called Cyren , who cause trouble on him most of the times .
