The Shadow of Geness: Part 1 - Chapter 1

Scene: A sprawling modern city on a fine afternoon. Golden sunlight bathes the skyline. High above the streets, on a large open balcony of a towering skyscraper, SHIGURE KIRA stands gracefully, her light blue ponytail fluttering in the breeze. She holds a communicator to her ear, dual pistols — Star Dance — holstered at her sides. Across the city, RO635 is positioned on a distant rooftop, observing through tactical binoculars.

 

KIRA (smiling softly, voice cheerful but focused):
RO-chan~! The city's buzzing like a concert venue today. No major Honkai signatures, but... there's this weird static in the air. Like the melody's off-key. You seeing anything strange on your end? RO635 (calm, professional tone over comms): Affirmative, Kira. Civilian activity normal. Traffic flow steady. But thermal scans show anomalous heat spikes near your location—upper levels. Stay alert. KIRA (tilting her head, playful): Hehe, always the serious one! Don't worry, if anything shows up, I'll give it a starlit performance it'll never forget— SFX: WHOOSH! Heavy impact from above. The balcony shakes violently. Dust and debris explode outward. A human-sized figure in dark, jagged armor — ZOVARAS — drops from the building's pinnacle far above, landing in a crouch right behind Kira with earth-shaking force. Its glowing eyes lock onto her. KIRA (spinning instantly, pistols drawn in a flash — Star Dance gleaming): !! Who's there—?! She points both guns straight at Zovaras, stance low and ready, eyes narrowed. KIRA (firm, no hesitation): You! State your intentions—now! This city's under my protection! ZOVARAS (voice deep, echoing with alien distortion — speaking in Genessian):
Ma dook, intrusa. E levo, Geness. Terra... nostra erit. KIRA (eyes widening in shock, grip tightening): W-What...?! That language—it's not Honkai, not anything I've heard...! ZOVARAS (reaching to its side, drawing the massive Darkness Broad sword — black energy crackling along the blade): E elemu... aela!
SFX: SHWING! Energy builds. Zovaras swings the Darkness Broad in a wide arc — a crescent wave of dark energy slashes toward Kira. KIRA (dodging with agile grace, flipping backward): Whoa—!! Too close! SFX: PEW PEW PEW PEW! Kira opens fire with Star Dance — rapid ice-charged bullets streaking like shooting stars. KIRA (firing while moving): Take this—Star Shower!! The shots pepper Zovaras, but sparks fly off its armor harmlessly. ZOVARAS (grunting low — alien growl): Hrrraaagh...  It charges forward, sword raised. RO635 (over comms, urgent): Kira?! Report! I read a massive energy surge at your position—what's happening?! KIRA (dodging another slash, counter-shooting): Some kind of armored alien! Human-sized, super strong—speaking some weird language! It's—gah! SFX: THUD! Zovaras lunges and delivers a brutal punch to Kira's midsection. KIRA (grunting in pain): Guh—!! She’s sent flying off the balcony, tumbling downward toward the streets below. SFX: WHOOSH... CRASH! Kira slams into the pavement in a crouch, cracking the asphalt. Civilians nearby freeze, staring in shock and horror. CIVILIAN 1 (panicked): W-What the—?! A girl just fell from the sky! CIVILIAN 2 (screaming): She's got guns—! KIRA (pushing up slowly, wiping blood from lip, eyes fierce): ...Not... done yet... SFX: BOOM! Zovaras leaps down from the balcony, landing with a ground-shaking impact in the middle of the street. Its eyes glow menacingly. Crowd erupts into chaos. CROWD (screaming, running): Monster!! Run!! Get out of here—!! ZOVARAS (raising Darkness Broad high): E levo... destructa!!
SFX: VRRRRRRM! Dark energy gathers in its core — then fires a wide beam of annihilating darkness, sweeping across buildings. Explosions bloom as structures crumble. ZOVARAS (swinging sword wildly, slashing at fleeing civilians): Hrrraaagh! Debris rains down. Screams intensify. KIRA (watching in horror, then fury rising — standing fully, pistols glowing brighter): ...You... DARE hurt innocent people?!  Her gentle demeanor cracks — pure Valkyrie rage ignites. KIRA (voice trembling with anger, then resolute): I won't forgive you...! No encore for monsters like you!!SFX: Dramatic sting. Ice energy swirls around Kira like sparkling stardust. KIRA (charging forward at full speed, Star Dance blazing): This stage belongs to hope... not destruction! She leaps into the fray, guns roaring, ready to clash head-on with the alien destroyer.
FADE OUT on Kira's determined glare as she closes the distance, bullets flying like a meteor shower toward Zovaras.
